calatrava has no sensibility as a draftsman, trying to understand the building by his sketches is a waste of time. He works mainly through maquetes and computer simulations, the complexity of his drawings is so limited by his skill that it would be impossible for him to predict any of his works through drawing. Or maybe I didn't get it.
